New to selling

So I'm new to selling on ebay, being a buyer for years who leaves feedback as soon as I receive what I've purchased, I was shocked to realise that the 10 items I recently sold and sent first class recorded (I can see they've gotten the items), only 3 of the buyers have left feedback.
How do sellers encourage buyers to leave feedback?Because I have to send it recorded to get my funds early, or wait 21 days...
But you sent them recorded did you not?
You will eventually be deemed fit for purpose. Until then, you wait or send tracked, it's hardly hidden or a surprise. I'm not sure why you are complaining?
Btw tracked isn't 'recorded' and 'recorded' is now 'signed for'.0 -

I'm complaining because buyers don't leave feedback despite getting the items, and obviously being happy about them, otherwise they'd be onto me. Meaning It's going to take forever to stop ebay withholding money0 -
You'll be lucky if even half your buyers leave feedback. In my experience it's less than half.0

No, if you send tracked it doesn't take forever.
Don't nag buyers to leave feedback or it may bite you on the bum.0 -
Feedback isn't obligatory, you do know that?0

I do know that, but when ebay state they'll stop withholding money if you get 10 positive seller feedbacks, it's pretty much un obtainable, maybe once i've sold 100 items, 10 people might give me feedback lol0 -

eBay don't withhold money, it's Paypal who do.
If you are getting this worked up perhaps eBay isn't for you?0 -
I just can't see how ebay expects you to fulfill their expectations when buyers can't be bothered lol
If you want to buy a plug and you find one, would you want to be hassled by the seller? There are no 'expectations' other than those who are unrealistic. A buyer doesn't need to be bothered.0
