Hi
Ive completed my ESA assessment medical form. I have about 60-70 pages of medical reports to send. If I go to my local job centre- will they copy them or scan them for me ? I just cant afford another lot of copies to be done ?

i wouldn't have thought so.
they usually ask for originals anyway because copies can be tampered with0 -
If the Job Centre is copying them they stamp as 'True Copy'. They will only accept originals to be copied, they won't copy copies.
Call your local JC and ask if they will copy documents to go with the ESA50.0 -
I'm wondering if anyone will have the time/inclination to read 70 pages of medical reports,i'd be tempted to send the most relevant0

Could you not scan them at your local library? you could keep the scans and give them the originals.0

I have only ever sent copies of papers. For my sons DLA, my IIDB and PIP - always copies ! Never been asked for originals. I'll go in the job centre - the state Im in at the moment - I cant face even reading through what may or may not be more relevant
I dont even care if they read the stuff tbh

Why dont you just send it in a a4 envelope, JCP staff wont have time to stand and copy 60-70 pages, I could understand if it were 5 pages or something.
You will care if they read it lol, Because they will base their decision on medical reports from doctors and specialists.0 -
I'm guessing she doesn't want to send the originals because of the risk (likelihood?) of some of them going missing and also no longer having copies of the reports herself. ATOS were notorious for 'not receiving' reports, I don't know if the new people are any better.0

No way would I send the originals or my only copies. I'm going to ask them to contact the PIP people and get a set from them - it's the same office. If they say no I'll hopefully be a bit better to arrange for copiesStuck on the carousel in Disneyland's Fantasyland

They wont need to stand there and wait, they just put the whole lot onto a feed tray and they will be
copied automatically.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
If they won't do it is there anywhere near you cheap that will? I had a about 40 pages of stuff to copy and a local place did it for a decent priceThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
