Open Club LLoyds joint account ...?

Its supposed to be easy according to their website to open a second Club LLoyds and '...make it joint' but I cant seem to!!

The only links I have from my internet banking will only let me open a basic current account, or the 'upgrade' link which tells me I cant upgrade ....!

Can anyone help?

Have you or anyone else done this. It does seem confusing. You link states "Please visit your local branch to make your account joint if you have a planned overdraft limit on the account that you would like to keep."

    The Eligibility also states "
Customers may hold a maximum of one account with Club Lloyds benefits either a Club Lloyds account or an Added
Value current account with a club Lloyds benefit package) in their sole name and one in joint names.
No more than two customers may hold any one Club Lloyds account or have a Club Lloyds benefits package added to their account."

Which to me infers you can have 2.

Thanked you for replying..... but not strictly true .....taken me ages with misinformation again from Lloyds employees on phone but ....

Process is to open a Classic account first

    THEN

make it joint ...first part of which you can do online ... now waiting for an activation code in post

    THEN

    Upgrade to Club Lloyds

First employee told me NOT to make it joint first and he would put me through to 'Conversions' team to upgrade to Club Lloyds....

Conversions team told me to make it joint first .....then upgrade....(sigh!!!)

EDIT: Saint....this reply was for Badger and crossed with yours....yes I think the branch visist is to do with overdraft....

    Apologies

I was also relying on memory of the multiple posts on this thread concerning joint accounts
