Hi guys,
Just looking for a little bit of guidance.
Mine and my partner's O2 contracts are up for renewal.
All the upgrade deals (from any source) are frankly rubbish.
There are some 'new' O2 contracts around that appeal.
In order to keep our numbers and take advantage of a new contract I understand we'll have to port our numbers to another network and port back again when taking out the new contract.
We have our O2 PAC codes and have ordered EE PAYG sims.
As I understand it we fill in a form on the EE website to port our number to the new sim.
- Are we able to then immediately request the PAC code from EE?
- If so what's the easiest way? Webchat?
-Can we do this without having to top-up (i.e. not having any credit whatsoever)?
I understand we then provide the (EE) PAC code to whichever source we take out the new O2 contract with.
Verification from anyone who has been through such would be hugely appreciated.
Thanks
RFTG
