Cancelling Virgin contract after 4 months

The phrase 'cutting off your nose to spite your face' comes to mind here...No free lunch, and no free laptop

Why did it take you three months to get an engineer out? Virgin are usually quite good and will get someone out within a week to fix any problems.
You can't blame them for not having a phone line for 3 months, and no, you can't cancel your contract because of this.0 -
I suspect the Op is looking to cancel Virgin for some other reason and is trying to use the phone as an excuse.
If someone has not pursued a fault on the phone line for 3 months, then it is someone who never uses the phone in the first place. As far as cost is concerned it is often cheaper to take a phone line as not with Virgin bundles.0 -
So they came, my line is fixed at no charge to me as it was their fault, (which I knew). Thanks for your advice all. :beer:0
