Rebuilding credit rating

Hi everyone,

So my Debt Relief Order finished at the start of May and I'm currently considering ways to rebuild my credit score. I'm looking at using a CC with a low limit whereby I use it once a month to fill the car and then pay it off immediately.

However.... My situation is not quite straightforward.
I live in a caravan during the week, then I use my dads or my partners house at the weekends (depending on what is happening with the social life). So I have my bank account etc registered with my dads address.
However I'm just wondering if it would cause problems for my dad if I apply for a credit card using his address. (I would be doing so with his permission so the issue is about my bad rating causing problems for him since it would be linked to his address)

All positive advice gratefully received!
Live Positive.

Total Debt: £14666.86
DRO Granted 02/05/14.
Lesson learned, all paid off.

Now Self employed, very happy and moving on

don't pay off immediately - pay off when you receive the statement otherwise it looks like there is no activity.

Credit history belongs to individuals, not addresses.
