Tax credit review and estimate

I had my tax credits review. My income has fallen by several thousand but the tax office have based my income on half way between my estimate and what I earnt last year. This means I have some working tax credit and tax credit reduced due to my income! I have two children and no partner.
Does anyone know what level of income results in NO WTC or TC reduction? This affects whether I pay for other things so not very fair in my opinion!
Thanks for your help. (PS not really the queen!)

I hope someone replies to you. We are having the same problem. OH works 30 hours a week at tesco and we have to pay full council tax , most of the rent bar£30, yet his WTC has reduced from £80 per week down to £3.90 per week. We are really struggling ATM. We also have 3 children but my OH is the one who works0

13/14 income was £6920
14/15 income was £13119
estimated income for 15/16 is £7950.
Tax credits are using an income of £10640.
Thanks, I'd appreciate any ideas why!0 -
Well they are in the right ball park at least. Does it change when they finalise 15/16 or is it just bad luck if your income goes down by several thousand?
Assuming an income of £10640, is it correct that my tax credit is reduced because of this income?
I am going to look back at previous years and see if they appear to have assessed me correctly, thanks for your input.
It is a bit complicated. I renewed online and also sent a ton of info to Concentrix about my disputed childcare costs. I was within a few pounds of being correct but had several changes all of which I notified them of. They returned all my paperwork and have continued to pay my tax credits and no further queries, so I assume they are happy with what I sent.
I really appreciate your help!0
