    Evening everyone

No updates here really. The face cream I am trying to UU is nearly gone. Will be glad to use something else as not sure my skin likes it really. Been using a few disappointing products recently. I bought myself a Korres cinnamon shower gel and am pretty disappointed with it, thought the smell would be stronger for the price. Also haven't been overly impressed with the Clinique serum - the one that was free with a magazine the other month? I know some other ladies on here really liked it but I haven't really noticed any difference. I have only been using it once a day rather than twice though so perhaps that's why. Still have some left to UU.

Some lovely Mac ins DreamyP. What's Twig like? I haven't heard much about that shade. Interested in the St Tropez gradual tan in shower too but have heard mixed things.

Wow £90 of Boots points plumpudding, that's impressive! Sounds like a lovely well deserved treat to yourself.

Hi all, two UUs for me today:

TBS Vitamin E Moisture Cream 15ml: Possible HG - bought a new full size one today.
TBS Shea Body Butter 200ml: I'm getting quite sick of TBS's body butter formula and this one is particularly greasy.Still have other scents in the stash so won;t even be thinking of getting another for the foreseeable future.

I also had a TBS voucher to spend so I picked up:

    Absinthe Hand Cream 30ml
    Vitamin E Moisture Cream 50ml
Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion 250ml
Fuji Green Tea Body Lotion 250ml

If I didn't have the voucher I wouldn't of bothered picking anything up today as I was pretty miffed at the service. I approached the till and put my things down - no hello or acknowledgement as the staff were chatting to each other. The girl continued chat to her colleague whilst scanning my things whilst I just stood there like a fool until she finally spoke to me because she was trying to sell me something else! One of my jobs is in retail and I wouldn't dream of talking to one of my co-workers whilst serving a customer unless I was querying something with their purchase/transaction! Won't be buying anything there in a hurry!

It is very annoying when this happens, they were very rude. Contact the body shop and tell them how it made you feel.

  • Thanks dolly84, I have sent them an email.

    Two UUs for me today:

TBS Shea Body Mist 100ml: Grew sick of the scent of this but I have another in the stash. WNBA.
Simple Kind to Skin Moisturising Facial Wash 150ml: There was nothing 'kind to skin' about this face wash! It dried my face out and made it feel very raw (I don't have dry or sensitive skin normally). It has a horrible gloopy consistency and the scent is nothing special. WNBA.

Have been trying out what the reviews DreamyP said for the primer and I now feel like my make up is caked to my face! Seems that the primer sets instantly which is why I feel it's difficult to put anything on top of it. Have been putting it on a small part of my face, brushing it in and then foundation on top. At least I can do something now! Hopefully it'll be used up in a couple of months!

Hi ladies. No more UUs. Things have slowed down however I did an admirable thing at weekend. I cancelled all the auto delivery orders that I had set up with QVC. The main reason is that I'm changing Credit Card provider and couldn't be mithered giving QVC new card details because last time I did that they still tried taking payment from the old one and it meant me spending ages on several phone calls sorting it out with them. So cancelled three orders in all for L'Occitane (am already drowning in liquid soap), Yankee Candles (can't burn them as quickly as I buy them) and LG Spackle which MrM was actually paying for but decided I was going to get rid of the lot.

Did see the email for the L'Occitane TSV yesterday and had those mini fragrances been from the new Grasse collection I could have been swayed but they weren't. Yay me.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

VALM! I love this 'no more messing about' approach! YAY you absolutely. It can be so hard to acknowledge that we are 'drowning in liquid soap' when that tempting offer comes along.

    Valm, great stuff!!

Just UU'd Emma Bridgewater Black Iris Hand Cream. Bought from TKMaxx and it is nice stuff but don't think I would go out of my way to buy it again. Plus have many others anyway.
