This is a fab group here, I've only just come across it. Can I join even though we are halfway through? I have stuff everywhere that mostly have been bought for me (people seem to think that I smell) and it's taking over my small flat in various places. My partner will be thrilled if I got rid of some stuff!
First of all, I'll make a list of things I have so that I can use them all up.
This month I think I'd like to concentrate on face and daily routines as I have a lot of Liz Earle stuff from Christmas, and extra that my mum gave me as she doesn't use it so it make sense to start using it everyday.

Oh I'm also pregnant again (6 months) so maybe in the next three months I should be using up that mama kit that I had from a friend with my first :)

city_girl - I haven't used the Almond cream but sometimes the Body Shop body butters roll up if I use too much.

    Welcome Floella.

    Hi ladies!

Can I please rejoin? I was a member way-back-when, then moved abroad and lost track, despite a couple of attempts to get back involved.

I'm now back in the UK, eeeek! And loving all the cheap prices and offers again :)

I have a small stash, I'm not too worried (apart from too much make-up!), but this thread was always fantastic at encouraging me to actually use what I have and pamper myself, as well as not waste money on things I don't need.

Plus I love the reviews and tips :)

I hope you are all well, feeling beautiful, and having a lovely Sunday!
  • Not that it's my club but please all newbies are welcome.

I was thinking I had no ins this month then realized I had loads oops

    Out
Clinique custom repair serum- best thing I've ever used but if a £48 bottle lasts less than 9 weeks and that's with only using on my problem areas not my whole face. No way I'm paying that much

Freederm overnight serum - would buy again but think they've stopped making it

Lacura Aqua complete multi intensive serum - wnba don't recommend it's like a cream not a serum and leaves a residue on your skin. Just using it up has annoyed me

    IN
Boots time delay luminosity serum - not sure so far. Seems to make my skin look brighter but more like a cream than a serum. I don't love it but it's much cheaper than Clinique

Garner moisture repair plus night gel - not sure about this yet super cheap but I don't like how cheap the packaging is. Nice on the skin but it's quite stingy so I wouldn't use it more than a couple of times a week.

Seventeen va va voom waterproof mascara - I'm taking this back. I have mild hayfever and it makes me look like a raccoon. Not waterproof at all. Unlike their waterproof mascara which is cheaper and much more waterproof. Pile of crap!!!

Recommend me a good cheap serum and night cream people. I want it to be able to deal with my fine lines

I've still bought no shower gel
  • Another two UUs for me which makes the ten that I was aiming for in June already :j

    9. iWhite Whitening Mouthwash 500ml. I won't buy this again, it felt like it left a squeaky film on my teeth and I haven't noticed any whitening either. Will replace with a Listerine Total Care 500ml which I have used on and off for ages!

    10. Lancome Softening Hydrating Toner 50ml. I don't think I will buy this again either, it's OK but nothing special, I much prefer Lush Breath of Fresh Air or the Botanics Rosewater Toning Spritz that I will be replacing it with (150ml).

The Avene cold cream soap has been relegated back to the cupboard as my face doesn't like it (hello spots!) so will use it as a body soap at some point and have replaced it with the Avene Gentle Gel Cleanser (200ml).

I had a moment of weakness and have one IN; Alpha H Balancing Cleanser (30ml). I am weak. What can I say!

Clearing space as I want to get all my makeup into the 2 MUJI acrylic drawers.

    OUT's:
    Sold 4 lippies :)
I honestly won't use them all in the time they need to be used
    3x Perfume sample

    UU's:
    Lush damaged hair oil treatment

Also, got back to burning oils to fragrance the house. I searched high and low for a cheap oil burner and although I refuse to shop at poundland and places like that, I did find one in there. I figured that I'll be reusing it for a long time so it won't end up getting wasted.

    7 outs so far
    No buying toiletries challenge

Been having a bit of a declutter today, we cleared out the en suite and a few things were thrown with it:
L'occitane bonne mere verbena soap 100g
    Pink grapefruit soap 100g
    L'occitane almond shower oil 75ml

I'm not a huge soap fan (too drying) but always end up getting it in kits that I otherwise like. The verbena was good, had scrubby bits which was lovely and lasted forever. The grapefruit didn't smell as strongly as I would have liked and so sat in the bottom of the shower tray collecting water.... The almond oil I found at the back of a storage container, so given there was only a little bit and god knows how long it had been there, ta ta.

Working on my list as I move around the house. It's going to be epic...

    Two INS ... oh dear ... :o

I liked the sample size of the Philosophy Purity 3-in-1 cleanser so much that I bought a full size in Boots cos it's on offer. And then I found that the St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion is on offer too ...

I will have to make a list of my stash. It'll, hopefully, prompt me into using more stuff up ...
  • Welcome floella80 and fixx!|

Thank you for all of your get well messages - I am feeling much better now - I think it was one of those horrid 24 hour bugs!

Dazedandconfused - I'm currently using the Superdrug Vitamin E serum - currently about £3 - it smells amazing and leaves my skin feeling so soft. I've only been using it for about a week so can;t comment on lines disappearing but I have high hopes!
