I've started an inventory of products on an excel spreadsheet to roughly calculate when I'll need to buy something as I've realised I keep buying multiple stuff of things I already have!

    Uus:
Cherry Carmex lip balm. WMBA on offer.
    Waitrose baby bottom cream
Poundland aloe vera sanitiser -Refilled again from a larger bottle from Savers

    Ins:
    2x baby bottom creams
    Blister cherry lip balm

GAs to my sis-in-law some unsuitable beauty box products:

    Mememe light pink cheek colour
    Kohls eyeliner
    Models own pink lip lacquer

Painted my nails light green, ready for the weekend.

    Evening everyone

Some lovely Mac ins DreamyP. What's Twig like? I haven't heard much about that shade. Interested in the St Tropez gradual tan in shower too but have heard mixed things.

I thought I wasn't that ecstatic at first but I've been wearing it to work and adore it! It's a really nice everyday colour. I know people are obsessed with it because of the Kylie Jenner lip thing but honestly it really is nice. I'm already in that mindset where I'm saying I need to use it sparingly so it lasts forever lol.

VALM! I love this 'no more messing about' approach! YAY you absolutely. It can be so hard to acknowledge that we are 'drowning in liquid soap' when that tempting offer comes along.

Thanks Plumpudding. When I originally ordered the auto delivery my justification was that we use a lot of liquid soap and it will stop me visiting the L'occitane store and buying other things I don't necessarily need or want to qualify for special offers/freebies but it had got to the point where I have nowhere to store the stuff!

Well done VALM, that was a step in the right direction, how much money has that little lot saved you?

I hadn't even thought about this you know but have just totted up that I have saved myself £136.77. There was only one drop of the L'occitane left however and as well as the bottle of liquid soap and eco refill I would have ended up with another full sized body lotion, yet another verbena shower gel and a £8. hand cream (the ones that come free with mags). Out of all these products there was only the handcream that I was excited about using as it was the lime one that I didn't pick up as a freebie last time but had tried in the store and loved. So I've saved myself £50.95 for that kit alone when I can pay £8.00 or less if the handcream features on a mag again.

The Yankee Candle autodelivery had two more drops so I've saved a total of £85.82. Given that I only burn large candles in my hall (use burners with wax tarts everywhere else) and have to ensure I light it as soon as I get in from work for it to burn for the required three hours I am just not getting through them. I was really looking forward to the fragrances in the other kits but will pick them up another time. Again, I don't have anywhere to store these things.

The last one that I cancelled was the LG Spackle. I put this on my PP list but there is still tonnes of product left and I have a full sized spare in my stash. Can't remember when I started this one but I got it for Christmas so if I opened it in January I am not likely to run out of this product this year.

Anyway, I have TA a product today: the Nspa BB cream donated by Emma. I must have used this last year after my holidays as it is way too dark and it's meant to be one shade fits all. Have thrown it away as I'm not going away until the end of September and don't want to keep it until then as it's been open a while.

Have a good day ladies. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

    .

I have used this twice and it did build up a nice color however I'm fair skinned and I can see that for darker tones, it could be a weak color. I will keep using and see if it builds up more.

I have never used another tanning product as I wasn't confident that I'd put it properly so I cannot compare.

Good thing is, no streaks and easy to use. I have used a mitt to put it on. I was also worried that it would leave a nasty color in bath tub but it didn't.

  • Hi I'm totally new. I'd like to join in but i have to admit to subscribing to two beauty boxes but they're the only toiletries that come in. I have a huge stash that I'm trying to work through. I put a £1 in a money box every time I use something up which helps.

    Welcome JellyJosie.

    I have a couple of uu's

Yarden Dead Sea Bath Salts with Frankincense & Rose Petals - WBA and already have another in the stash. I could live without the rose petals as they are pointless and messy but otherswise really like these salts.

Ren Hydra Calm Cleansing Milk 150ml - gorgeous. Have another in the stash to use and lots of other cleansers. I use this in the morning so I can't speak for its makeup removal properties.

That is such a great idea!! I need to do this, I am always so worried that I might miss out on some great deal that I end up over buying a lot of products.

If I can work out when I might run out it would be easier to keep an eye out for special offers closer to the time. Although I have to be honest if I needed anything new in the next 6 months it would be a shocker

I have 1 IN to report
Super drug B Radiant serum. Sent as a product to trial so have not broken my streak just yet.

No UU's to report. HOW do you ladies manage to get through so much product so quickly?? Maybe I will just have to start throwing away!!
