    In that case I am sure he won't chose Apple :)
    Anyway journalism nowadays I think includes photo and video editing as well. So the laptop should be at least medium range. With 500 pounds you can buy from Amazon a laptop better that what he needs.
    But what can I say.... everybody want's Apple. I don't even understand why....
