    Hi Rob,

Given the time you posted your message above, bit concerned you may not have got proof of posting.

So if you just popped the letter in the post box, you might like to re-send a copy but take it to the post office and get a free certificate of posting (1st class legally deemed to have arrived within 2 working days).

May seem like overkill but to avoid the "never received an appeal" game it's best to have proof.

The amount of mail that goes 'missing' to/from parking companies could probably create a pile the size of Ben Nevis ;)

Thanks ColliesCarer, I've not taken it to the post office yet, but will do as suggested, thanks for the tip.

But not recorded delivery, because they'll refuse to accept it. Odd thing for a legitimate business to do, isn't it?

A quick update ... after posting the template last week, today I received a letter saying the notice has been cancelled.

Thank you all for your help :)

    Congratulations solentbob

CEL it seems have decided to cut their losses before you cost them money :)

Must be wising up and recognizing cases they don't stand a chance of winning either at POPLA or in court ;)
