Hi, Had mine re-opened and upheld in May2015 ( see above )- I think every claim is treated differently . As I said I was unemployed , my husband ( who they said was the 'breadwinner') was self - employed . At the time of the original complaint I had to send numerous documentation from HMRC etc to back this up. It would seem me being unemployed at the time , and able to prove it , was a factor.Debenhams\Santander\Genworth rejected my wife's claim for PPI refund in May 2015. We have applied to FOS, but would be very interested to hear on what grounds the opening 2 posters have since had their claims upheld.
