Hi
just had a quote from a private family firm to completely remove ivy from the wall on the back of the house. The house is a normal sized terrace house. The ivy is overgrown and covering most of the wall and goes up to the guttering. I have been quoted £450 which would also include complete removal of the rubbish. I was expecting around £300 so would be grateful for any input/advice from other forum users.

Get another quote.
Does it include VAT? That will account for £75. Also you will have a skip or aste charge in there as well.
But you still need to get another qhote.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
