Thames Water...conditions to get thames water charity help

in Water bills
if people have fallen behind they say you can get help with water bills from the charity . what are the conditions to get the help (such as do you have to be on any benefit etc)? anyone done this before? thanks in advance

Don't have to be on benefit - just low income. I have previously completed an application for another water co's charity and it's quite involved. They ask for outgoings, incomings etc, and may advise that you get help from the CAB in completing the form.
Your water company may try and tell you that before your application can be considered you will need to show a regular payment pattern, but this would be untrue, as the charity will have no such condition in place.0
