My pine dining table is working it's way loose, it was delivered complete so have no tools at all for assembly etc. Where would I get an allen key or set of allen keys which would I could use to tighten it up as it's getting a bit wobbly. Any info greatly appreciated, thank you.

local pound shop?
We were in ours at the weekend looking for a special type of screwdriver to open up my mobile. A few small tool sets had allen keys in them. Do have a good look at them though as some of them weren't moulded in a perfect shape.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -

Everywhere sell allen keys.
I would be a little warry of over tightening things especially when it comes to stuff made of wood. someone over did it on our dineing table and it pulled the fitting through the wood destroying the beam that went between the 2 legs.0 -
I bought a set of ten in Halfords for £3.99...Errors of opinion may be tolerated where reason is left free to combat it. - Jefferson0

If you see them with a spherical end at a good price I would get them as they are much better in confined spaces and can be used on a slight angle.0

A cheap set of metric and imperial.
I have put stuff together in the past where none of my metric allen keys fitted the screws supplied.
So i had to use the hand operated allen key they supplied0 -
most of the hassle i have had doing diy stuff is not having the right tools, if you you dont even have a set of hex's then it might be worth geting a cheap toolkit, in the long run it will save you a whole heap of hassle.
heres a 225 piece one for £25
