  • Hi... tried the ASDA nappies when my little one was younger and i thought they were pretty good. They still leaked when he was newborn but so did all the others i used!!
  • I have used asda nappies beofre I started using cloth full time.

I found them awful. They always leaked after an hour and the tabs wouldnt stay fixed on. If you have a small baby/child, they are completely useless.

A size 3 was too small yet a size 4 was too big. My dd is very small for her age, more like a 10 month old then a almost 16 month old.

The guardian ran a nappy article last week, Pampers came first and Asda second, huggies were way down the list. I always use Asdas and have had no leaks in 11 months even with Diorreha (Spelling! I know). Only had crystals once when I left nappy on too long and she filled it to full capacity with wee, in my defence we were moving house and she didn't complain :o:D:o

I have started buying the boxes of 88 @ £8.69. I did however notice they had rolled back boxes of pamper to £9.00 for 88. I decided to stick with Asdas as I'm more interested in performance than brand even if they did score 3% more pampers will roll back up at some point and I cannot see the difference.

My babys bum is lovley I would pay more to keep it that way if it was necessary but as far as I am concerned there is no difference.
  • not really impressed with asda nappies, the sizing seems to be odd!
tesco have 1/3 off all nappies at the mo, and their own purple pack ones are fantastic,
the green pack seemed to leak more
    hope this helps

Have to agree with Lidl nappies. My son has special needs which means he doesnt have small wees and only wees when his bladder is at its fullest and we've found that Lidl nappies are the only ones that can cope - and they're great value too!

I have used ASDA nappies a few times.
The majority of the time i didn't have a problem, occasionally though there would be lots of 'crystals'.
DS now only wears nappies at night. I have just opened a pack of Tesco's own last night, they seemed fine.

My advice...give them a try, just a small pack to start in case you don't like them, for £3.97 (is that still what they cost?) you havn't got much to lose

    Hi
I used Asda nappies for the whole 2 years my DD3 was in nappies, and never had a problem at all. I tried Pampers to begin with but these had the most awful smell, every time she had a wee you could smell it, yuk. SO I switched to Asda, and never had any smells, leaks or any other problems, would definately recommend them

Same here. I used pampers when my DS(3) was tiny baby but he occasionally smelt like a farmyard:eek: . Switched to supermarket own brand (ASDA/Tesco/Morrisons) but found ASDA to be the best as they are quite slimline compared to the others. He never ever had nappy rash either. Also discovered that my son was allergic to the morrisons green band on the back.

It's interesting to see how different people rate different nappies. Do you think people have different experiance because not all babies are shaped the same ie. one doesn't fit all?

I've only tried the Asda Eco nappies, DD is in cloth the rest of the time but her teething poo is awful so I keep some dispos in just in case. I prefer biodegradeable ones and usually use Nature ones and when I read that Asda had brought out an eco one too I wanted to try them. They were AWFUL! When she had wee'd in them they seemed to lose all structure and just sag even when they werent full and then just drop off down her trouser leg!
