I saw them and was tempted but the saving wasn't big enough to put up with leaky nappies, should they be useless!!!!

    I liked the packaging though!

On the which report they only score 3% less than Pampers (they came top). It would just be nice to hear what others think of them, like you say it's not moneysaving if they're useless :)

Ive used asda nappies since my dd was born (now 11 months). i think they're much better than pampers and they don't go all squishy as soon as they have a wee.

I do recall buying a pack of ASDA newborn Nappies by mistake, as they were in Yellow packaging (same as Pampers) and they weren't up to the same standard as Pampers.

I always use Huggies though for my Newborns, and switch to Pampers as soon as they are size 3.

If I could find a Nappy that is cheaper and is good, I will use them.

Costco do some good ones though, but getting there, unless I was doing a big shop, wouldn't be very MS as the tunnel fare is £2.40 return!

I've used them and think they're great - but not very roomy. So if a pampers size 3 fits, for example, you may need asda size 4.

If you have a Lidl, i think their nappies are great value.

I used Asda and Lidl on my two when they were babies. The oldest is now 10, but disabled so still wearing nappies. If i run out of the specialist 'big' ones, he can still squeeze into the largest Lidl ones, but he's no hope of getting into the asda ones.
  • we have used asda nappies on occasions when desperate and I hate them, they leave so many crystals on my daughters bottom its horrible.

I am definately not a fan. we have used pampers when she was newborn but quickly moved onto tesco's which i personally think are great. i did try all the supermarkets own brands morrisons, asda, sainsbury and tesco but def give tesco the thumbs up!
i am tempted by lidls but have not tried them yet.

I have always used Asda/George nappies for my now 3 year old for both day and night. He now has to have the largest size, but even after wearing overnight i get no crystalization. Also he never had nappy rash apart from a 1 day eczema induced bout. I would just give them a try.

i've used lidl nappies for years and personally think they're great value. i brought some new asda ones last week as i couldnt be bothered to go to lidl that day and several times my ds has woken up to a wet bed where the wee has actually come out of the top of the nappy and soaked his vest around his waist. once this pack has gone i will be going back to lidl for 50 nappys at £4.99! bargain :D
It only seems kinky the first time.. :A

I second that Aldi and lidl are IMHO as good as pampers and Huggies. I have tried them all and used to use George nappies. Then Asda changed the design to "make them better" with stretchable sides. They constantly leaked more than any other nappy I have tried they were so bad I ended up wasting the pack I had to complain. I dont know what they are like now -they may have made them better. I would definitely recommend going for ALdi or Lidl cheap and effective.
  • ive just been told by my sil who works for lidl that there nappies are actually made by pampers but are a lot cheaper.
