if you ordder before 8.30am with tesco they offer later delivery. I have done this before but delivery was between 7-8pm

Well in that case I'd imagine they ordered something where the offer didn't begin until the following day.

Either way if your not happy, just reject the items when the delivery arrives and you'll get refunded

Any items ordered on offer which won't be on promotion at the time of delivery will be flagged after you hit "checkout" for Tesco.

After you hit checkout an interrupt will be displayed on screen before you can get to the payment/delivery details.
