Just checked, PAYG Add-ons don't appear to include freephone calls. Only their contract SIMs. So you'll have to use the 0208 number to connect. You'll have at least 300 minutes, I'm sure that will be ample.

It's changing how so? Travelling next month. Should I purchase my £15 at home bundle now? 300 mins will be more than enough for the odd call home, within the USA (via the 0208... call through). Data was the main benefit of this for light Internet surfing over there.0

If your "few weeks" is just under a month, there's no point in starting yet as you'd need 2 months of bundle.0

From July 1 all calls to 0800 and 0808 are free, from any UK landline or mobile.
