You could also bring to their attention that there is no such legal entity as Kernow Parking Solutions (it's a sole trader, and as such, they MUST, by law, state who that person is in all notices and correspondence), and therefore there can be no contract/license to park, nothing to have breached, and therefore you cannot possibly owe anyone anything.

The very fact that Kernow is acting unlawfully in how he uses the trading name means that it won't ever go anywhere near a court.

Stop sending the guy money. Do you send money to Nigerian email scammers too? You missed the appeal chance so just ignore him. It's not 'legal' or 'illegal' but it sure as heck isn't a real fine so why on earth anyone on here would think they have to send they guy even tuppence is beyond me.

The Newbies thread is clear that if you miss the appeal chance with a BPA member firm and get 'debt collector' or other letters then just ignore them in the absence of court papers. Same as people with any IPC member 'ticket - just ignore.

The only point of appealing is to win at POPLA, no point engaging otherwise and as for paying them money - don't be naïve.

Ignore him, file the rubbishy letters and only come back for advice if you get actual Court papers (won't happen). Please stop taking this rubbish so seriously.

Many thanks everyone. I feel a bit better now and OK i will just ignore anything else and if court papers are served i can just pay up if absolutely necessary.
