Taking easyJet to court

Options
To cut a very long story short . Have gone through all the usual procedures/channels with easyJet refusing to pay compensation for a flight that was delayed for over 6 hours. Have referred case to CAA who have ruled in my favour . EasyJet still refusing to pay compo so have issued court proceedings against EasyJet . They have issued a defence against my claim. Surely with the backing of the CAA the courts will rule in my favour ?? Is this a regular ploy by easyJet in the hope I will drop my court case ? Any advice greatly appreciated as I really don't fancy standing in court :(
