Saga do, as do Aviva (sometimes - with a letter on company headed paper stating that you had SDP use on the company car), Tesco may also take the claim free driving letter, although it is a bit hit & miss.

Alternatively, approach your company's broker/insurer and see if they will assist. It has been known, you just need a decent broker and an underwriter that can talk between fleet dept and personal lines - Allianz seem quite good at this.

Thanks for Saga and I'll add tesco on the end of the call list.

Aviva was one of the ones I tried last year. Their bloke was quite unhelpful even tho the then companycar policy was actually with Aviva! - he reckoned his part couldn't communicate with the Aviva fleet people.

Allianz might be golddust. The current fleet policy is with them! I'll get onto the company's broker tomorrow..

    Ta.

Hi Robbo, hope you deal with Allianz, Bristol - they seem more old school, helpful and common sense than other branches.

That would have been true. Your company broker would've had a better chance.

If he knew that, he might have said. But he didn't. And being in the industry he would certainly have been better positioned than me to know its truth. On such time wasting is company aversion based..

btw thanks for the esure suggestion above. Which comparison site did you have in mind for the 'dropdown'?

I wouldn't exactly say he was in the industry - more likely call centred based and trained.

Sorry, no idea why comparison sites do it - just remember seeing it.
