I need a nice set of mats and perhaps a boot liner, has anyone got any recommendations of a good supplier?

Thanks

MiWordNo! Not the Main Dealer with all their overheads, nor Halfords with theirs, but a sizeable carboot: which will see you recarpeted in glory with change from a tenner and shrewd advice on bootliners gratis.

Failing that, any carpet emporium with out of date samples will be delighted to offer you a range of weaves, depths & colours for a modest sum. If you have family, buy *generously* that you can dispose of the carpet pieces when they get unspeakable.

Pick up a heavy duty rubber boot liner from Ebay. The one I bought has been through three different cars and they are easy to cut (ridging design) and do not move they are about £10-£15.

Still looking for decent car mats :(.

Main dealers can have parts like that sitting on the shelves for a long time and bargains can be had with a bit of leg work.

Dont assume dealers are expensive for everything, Ive bought several items brand new from a main dealer for less money than ebay sellers want for used items.

Want some new heated washer jets? Used ones on ebay £20 at the time or £4 -£6 from the dealer. I can get proper Ford oil from the dealer for less than supermarket oil.

Many main dealer suppliers also sell under their own brand.

I bough Landrover Defender seat covers that were identical to the branded ones I had.

Don't forget that Car Mats should be well fitted and ideally quite heavy to keep them in place. They to present quite a danger if incorrectly fitted.

I have bought a boot liner for my last two new cars from carmats4u.com. The service was good and the liners fitted perfectly, tailored to the model.
    Cannot comment on the mats.
