Don't beat yourself up. You are probably saving a vast sum in interest by prioritizing the mortgage over the cc.

Finally pushed myself into ringing Virgy threatening to leave and got new deal on monthly package, completely wiped out TV package as never used, made a saving of £14 month so good result also mentioned how their biggest competition was offering £100 M&S gift vouchers to new customers and was offered £50 cash spread out and knocked off my monthly DD....well worth the call.:D
£20 into my mortgage today....savings from food shop and reduced DD for end of next month....:D
Enjoyed a lovely Friday evening for a change OH had plans to go out with some work mates, wish he would do it more often...like every night lol, still nice to not walk on egg shells for a change "heaven". :j
Has got me thinking though, and I am going to look into some night classes, join a gym just something for me ....get myself out more.....not sure what yet and hoping its not a passing fad, actions into words, need a swift kick up the jacksy....;)

    DS 0 PAID…. CC 3,910 …. Mortgage £100,000 /£65,750 saved £34,250 remaining…

OMG electrician no3 just left sounded nice enough on the phone .... Had 2 different diagnosis and 2 different quotes from previous electricians, so felt hopeful but wasn't to be.... electrician no 3 really milked it for everything he could, kept on shaking his head I couldn't get him out the door quick enough.....comes up with biggest quote/problem yet "full house re-wire" £3,000 plus , floors up, tiles off kitchen wall....not on your nelly!!. Oh well I have electrician no 4 coming tomorrow.....................................
Good news Van went through test no bother cheapest ever only £30 :T
Also might have found someone to fix my american style fridge that blew with the electrics....seems to think it is the heater so gave me an approx quote of £130....might be worth repairing, although I have got quite used to my little fridge now, don't seem to spend so much on food, less space to fill...........:)
Had a naughty little spendy yesterday day out with DS train cost and mc donnys £20 then a minor spend of £10 but it was for my mollymoo, her doggy bed was beyond tatty and smelly and her collar was not much better....not a bad price bargain really £8 bed and £2 new pretty collar "homey bargains" She was not happy at all at losing her old smelly bed and did refuse to sleep in the new one at first but she's coming round.
Well better get off my backside and knock up a nice chicken salad for tea....Yummy:D
