I've never had the smell either :T0

The recipe I use is 125g turmeric to 500ml water with 2tsp freshly ground black pepper and 5tbsp coconut oil.0

Cheers...
I had to use almost 700ml of water when I started with 150g turmeric as the given 125g turmeric to 250ml water was just solid LOL
So now I got a massive jar.. BUT - since discovering "golden milk" hmmmmm yummyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy0 -
It freezes fine if you have loads - it's best consumed within 2 weeks from fresh0

It's a natural anti-inflammatory - so especially good for joint issues like arthritis. Also shown to have some other benefits - it's meant to be beneficial for some types of cancers. It seems to be widely used in the horse community to get rid of sarcoids.0

I'm about 2 weeks in, feeding it to mine, and noticing a difference in Kiki already. Much less stiffness when getting out of bed, and she was bouncing around yesterday like a pup, not the old lady she is becoming! The regular dose of coconut oil also seems to have given an extra sheen to her coat, she's looking very glossy too.0

I think this will have to be my weekend project this week, alternating salmon oil and coconut oil in my boy's food has helped a lot with his joints but I'd still like more mobility without dosing him up on too many meds (you don't want to know what most of them do to his digestion).
The GP is the next step in home treatment and worth a go, may even give the milk a try for myself and see if it helps my arthritis at all although mine only usually flares up in winter so will be a while before I see any results for myself.0
