I usually find 'Stardrops' in 'Boyes' for 99p. I think Boyes (bargain shop with good craft department) is only a North East/East Midlands chain though. 1 bottle usually lasts me a whole year, as I dilute it in a spray bottle for most jobs & in a bucket for floors, etc. It is good neat on a cloth too for hard to shift grease on things like cooker hobs.
I think the pressure to buy tons of different products is such a con. I buy Stardrops, bleach, washing up liquid, laundry powder & soda crystals. I have a few ancient products left from before I adopted my money saving lifestyle, but they are no better & I wouldn't buy them again.
F2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!0
