  • Trip to Wilkinsons for some bits we wanted, then on to the carpet warehouse. We found carpet a bit cheaper than the local shops and also some vinyl for the bathroom and kitchen.

Called and borrowed back some of the pots we gave away, they will go back when we have got the plants in. Came home for lunch and spent the afternoon chilling. There was enough left from yesterday's lunch for tonight's supper, there is enough salad left for lunch tomorrow.

Remover coming in the morning to do a quote, so have to be up early.also expecting the outreach worker to call and arrange official viewing of the bungalow.:T:T:j:j

    Evening all,

Been a nice day here.....our bank holiday is next Monday, used to move around to coincide with church dates, but some years ago it was settled for first Monday in June.Collected DGS2 from school, DD4 and DSILto be came for dinner on way home from hospital visit, twins still doing well and are very active. We had roast chicken with stuffing, broccoli, pak choi, celery and baked spuds...there was rhubarb tart for pudding but nobody had any room, ver unusual in this house.

    Lyn....hugs to you and Docky.

judi...hugs for when DD1 and family leave....I cry when DD3 arrives from Australia and also when she goes home. Hope your boys cop on and stop blaming you for everythi g.

Ruby.....hope that DD gets rid of migrane soon, so debilitating. It does seem as if she is overdoing things but then when young we consider ourselves invincible?

Tru...sorry to hear that you have hurt yourleg agai ...try to rest, even if it means leaving Scampi to Mt Trus tender mercies.

JackieO...you are such a positive lady, its an honour to know you! Will be thinking of you on Friday and sending you vibes for a speedy recovery.

Csarina...hope that you got a bargain with your floorcoverings, would agree that quality is expensive but important.Hope that your move goes smoothly.

Hester....you are a really great grandmother, I feel so lazy!

Sleep well everybody and stay safe
