the NEWBIES thread contains your initial appeal to PE , so use it as is, or remove the rant only

then , for popla , for inspiration , try these EXAMPLES (not templates) you can base your wordings on

dont just blindly copy and paste, but use them to draft your own popla appeal

It's worth reinforcing that caveat, given that the linked post says ...
Here are several examples of strong POPLA appeals to use as templates to copy & paste

    :D

Copy/paste may have been valid when that post was written (in 2013), but is not so now. However most of the points therein are still pertinent.

Just to let you know - I couldn't face the hassle, AND because I'd prevaricated, it went from £60 to £100. I decided to suck it up and let the supermarket know how I felt. I rang their head office customer services. They called me back today, they rang Parking Eye, my fine got cancelled and I'll get a cheque within three weeks.

I didn't have a receipt, I told them why I was there, that it was the evening, that I understood the need for restrictions in the daytime, and they were fine about it.

So always let them know - they're in a competitive market and they don't want to lose custom.

So , you paid £60? or £100? then complained to the supermarket ......

did you even do the first appeal?

the cheque you are about to receive is off the supermarket or parkinglie??

I think you have been very lucky and I would not suggest any one else tries this route.....

Yes complain to the supermarket .... BUT at the same time as going down the appeal route!

Oh , who was the supermarket?

    any way well done

The opening paragraph in the Newbies thread suggests complaining as the opening option especially if it's a supermarket or NHS facility.

One has to wonder if people really do read the Newbies thread.

It can be quite good fun.

It's actually quite good for the soul, especially if you can contribute to helping those more vulnerable than yourself.
