I had this from an insurance company - guy had used my address ( never lived here - I bought from new ) In the end I wrote a formal complaint. They investigated, apologised and sent me £50 to say sorry. I didn't want bailiffs turning up at my door - even though it's not my debts - its grief I could do without.Stuck on the carousel in Disneyland's Fantasyland

Baillifs dont turn up unless there's an outstanding CCJ.
If there was, you'd have received the court papers at your address.
Debt Collectors are not bailiffs (though this is confusing when the same company runs 2 services)0
