Punjab Bank ISAs

Hi
Was reading about good ISA rates in Which magazine and mention was made of Punjab Bank. It seems to be protected by £80,000 banking rule, but I wondered if other forumites had any any experiences good or bad with this bank?
Many thanks for reading this and any future responses.

Debt September 2020 BIG FAT ZERO!
Now mortgage free, sort of retired, reducing and reusing and putting money away for grandchildren...

    Thumbs up from them here.

Got a few products from them and they are very personable and helpful.

No personal experience of this bank but if you're considering one of their longer-term fixed ISAs then be aware that closing them before maturity can be relatively expensive in the later years compared with the penalties you would pay to most other providers.

If you close before maturity, you lose 1% pa of interest over the entire period you have held the ISA.

Went in branch (Moorgate) to open an isa last week. Very helpful and professional. Didn't feel like a bank though - more like a travel agents!

Your sig suggests you have debts so unless you have massive amounts already saved then you'll get far better returns clearing debts first (unless they're 0%) and by filling high interest current accounts than by using an ISA.

Really depends on the amounts but unless you're hitting the ISA allowance every year I'd do other options first.
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

Can their ISA accounts be viewed in on-line banking?
