Can you negotiate with a hyundai dealership when buying a new car , also is there a website where I can check how much the dealear paid for car ie £10k plus dealers bonus ie £500 plus salesman bonus ie £500 so I can say I will offer you 11k Take it or leave it and then they pause for a moment and say its a deal.

Do Tescos tell you how much they paid for a tin of peas?

As has been said, use an internet broker site and see how close your local dealer can get to it - bearing in mind they may not be able to (or want to) match it as they have overheads that a broker wont.

Drivethedeal but they want name, address, email so are they going to hound me 24/7 and send junk mail.

With tesco you can take the peas back but buying 10k car on the internet and it breaks down then what happens

Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.

As has been said, you give them a duff email address. They wont hound you anyway.

Also, i'm not sure how knowing what profit there may be in any particular item makes it more or less reliable?

You dont have to buy the car off an internet broker, you just use their price as a big stick to beat your local dealer.

there is no hounding with DTD in fact OP using a broker isideal for someone who dislikes haggling but is looking for a good deal. Warranty issues can be dealt with at any dealer although your contract under SOGA is with the supplying dealer not the broker.
IMHO its the way cars should be bought, main dealers are nothing but full of their own self importance.

That website isn't one i have seen before and looked pretty interesting. It came up with:
    27 Great Western Road
    LONGTON
    PR4 3RW

But that postcode isn't in "Longton" nor great western road, and the next few addresses it created had postcodes that don't even exist. What's the point in trying to use one of these when as soon as the dealer tries to put it into their system the computer will say "whack whack oops"...?
