    Of course you can.

Target Price is the most you should pay for your new car. Call 08455 081 409 for the best price on your next car.

I very much doubt if you'll find that sort of commercially sensitive data anywhere in the public domain, but there's nothing to stop you making a guess to negotiate with the dealer - they'll either agree to your offer (in which case it was probably too high), refuse completely, or make a counter offer. It's the same in any purchase where the price isn't fixed (so don't bother trying it at a Porsche dealer).

Are you suggesting that Porsche and its dealers are engaged in a criminal conspiracy to fix prices?;)

I think when negotiating with Hyundai you need to tell them you don't want to pay Hyundai, you want to pay Lowundai.

That kind of awful pun will leave the OP highanddry.
  • Good luck is all I can say. Six weeks ago I attempted to order a new Hyundai, paying cash. The sales exec basically lost all interest in selling me a car when his attempts at pushing finance failed on me. I was quite happy paying the list price without a discount, had I opted for finance the price would have been £1000 less with around £800 dealer discount ontop of that. I was told he would have to phone somewhere for lead times etc and he would contact me by phone (he had my card with three contact numbers)

    I'm still waiting.

I see , so the salesman gets his bonus from the finance but why didnt you go for finance if its £1800 discount because my salesman offered me £500 discount on a new i20 new shape when I was looking this week

I just don't want the hassle basically, you could call it being awkward but I don't really want to be coerced into taking out finance when I already have the funds to purchase outright. Also he was a little vague details such as penalties if paying off the finance early, what kind of deal it would be etc.

Yes you can and it was very easy to get them to knock a large percentage off. I just took in a price from drivethedeal and they bettered it.
