I recently purchased 2 sheds from this company based in Leeds after scouring the internet looking for a better quality built shed with thicker cladding.
I opted to buy the sheds which were advertised with having 12mm cladding and it emphasized that this was the finished size by putting that quote in brackets. When the sheds arrived they looked ok but after the driver had gone I noticed that the cladding looked a bit thin for 12mm so I measured it.
It turned out to be 10mm,which is the bog standard size so I wasn't happy.
I called them up straight away to complain and was told that wood as a natural product is prone to movement and that this was normal, I quoted their advert in which they said that the 12mm was the finished size and that was what I was expecting not 10mm.
They wouldn't accept that there was an issue as I has paid for 12mm cladding but was only getting 10mm.
Not getting anywhere I sent an email which just pointed out again that it was in their terms and conditions that they couldn't guarantee the size of the wood so I asked again then why do they advertise it as being the finished size when it clearly wasn't and they couldn't guarantee it so why say it.
I told them I was rejecting the sheds as they were not as advertised and then the fun started, Their customer service senior manager took up the email boxing match refusing to accept there was an issue and refusing to see my point that the sheds were clad in 10mm cladding not 12mm and that it has miss-sold me 2 sheds.
Now having been in this boxing match for over 2 weeks and was finally offered a full refund and the sheds being collected they have stopped contacting me so I'm no nearer getting my money back or the sheds removing from my driveway.
I have informed them that I have given them plenty of notice to collect the sheds and they are not my responsibly and I will also be seeking interest on the money they owe me and also storage fees for the two sheds.
I'm still waiting for a response...
Has anyone else or is anyone else going through the same issues with this company.

Not the same issue but when you buy anything, whether it be over the Internet or from a shop aren't you allowed to refuse it within a short period without even given a reason.
Is it the sale of goods act ? I could be wrong.

I would stop attempting to contact the retailer and just go for a chargeback if you paid by debit or credit card. The man without a signature.0

However, it that case it is usually the consumer that has to cover the cost of the return.
In the OP's situation, as the goods do not conform to contract, the buyer can reject the goods for a full refund and only has to make the goods available for collection. Section 35 of SoGA applies.
Op, you still have full responsibility for the safe keeping of the goods until they are collected.
How did you pay for the sheds? By credit card?
If so, consider a Section 75 claim.0 -
Tiger sheds say
"
Shed Cladding: Our shiplap tongue and groove sheds are provided with 12mm thick cladding (this is the FINISHED SIZE!). Our overlap sheds are made from 9mm thich cladding - this is far thicker than most competitor buildings. Please make sure you look at the cladding thickness when comparing sheds. Also ensure you ask for the finish size - many competitors try to fool you by providing the size of the timber before it has been cut down."0 -
I bought a summer house for over £3000.00 and paid for delivery and installation. The summer house had several defects and the company did not put these right and their customer service and attitude is the worst I have ever come across! After many, many letters and getting nowhere I applied to my credit card company for a refund (charge back) under the Consumer rights act 2015. After 6 months my credit card company (MBNA) and Tiger Sheds merchant bank upheld my claim and made a FULL refund back to my bank. I am awaiting the collection of the FAULTY SUMMER HOUSE by Tiger Sheds. Please avoid yourself all the stress and hassle and avoid this company and go elsewhere.0

I am pleased to hear you got your full refund, and that your chargeback claim was successful.0 -

Just looked and found this very interesting review/ blog about tiger sheds https://www.tigersheds.com)
http://jerichoconsulting.co.uk/a-shedload-of-trouble-tigersheds-revisited/
He's a company that specialises in customer experience and ends his blog with
"As I have previously mentioned, I do not like showcasing poorly performing companies and I have to praise the (eventual) quality and resolutions relating to my own cabin ; however it would seem that other people are now being affected by Tigersheds’ substandard products and customer service. It seems as if I have a duty of care!
Let’s see how many more people crawl out of the woodwork… " Ian Williams of Jericho consulting0 -
