MMC for Nokia 6230 (moved)

Hi I need a MMC card pref a 1 gb or 2 gb. Could you please let us know where I could get the cheapest and best. Thanks.

I got a 1GB one from ebay a few months ago for £35, it came from Hong Kong but arrived within 3/4 days and i have had no problems with it.

Dont think you can get a 2GB one

Not sure if you are aware but once you have a new MMC card dont format it using the phone, it it unable to format larger cards and buggers them up, use your computer.

Also to transfer music to it its best to use a MMC USB card reader, the data cable is so slows it drove me mad and I had to get one these

I can't find any 2GB ones either, but have searched around and found a few relatively good-looking deals. None are as cheap as that eBay bargain though.

Cheapest appears to be a generic 1GB MMC from Misco at £45.81, whilst the best seems to be a TwinMOS card from Komplett; £53. Not entirely sure about the latter though, so you may want to check out MyMemory.co.uk too.

Yesterday lunchtime I ordered a 1GB MMC card from Crucial for my Nokia - priced at £46.99 plus vat with free delivery. It was at work waiting for here this morning!! Can't fault that!!
They also have cheap Flash Drives 512MB for £23.
