UKPC are a bunch of bullying scammers that are unlikely to take you to court, their variously named debt collectors; Debt Recovery Plus, Zenith etc are powerless idiots that have far too much paper and red ink in their printers but little else.
Unfortunately you have as stated missed the boat, panicked, and phoned the idiots too all of which could have been avoided had you come here first.
Stop phoning anyone and certainly do not contact debt recovery agents they have no interest in your circumstances, only your money, and if they think you are worried by them they will target you more and more.
And stop thinking it is a fine its an invoice from a very rich scammer who wants to extend his Spanish villa and his house in Buckinghamshire!0 -
Should they dare to take you to court demanding £150, this exceeds the maximum advised by the BPA (and IPC) of £100.
This would be the major plank of your defence in the remote chance of you getting court papers.
If you get these court papers, then come back on here - on this thread - but in the meantime, just keep any other communication from the PPC or debt collectors or fake solicitors in a file . No need to update us unless you get genuine court papers.
Next time, don't waste your POPLA appeal window.0
