Your monthly net income is £2600 but is that before your mortgage/rent and other living costs are taken off that figure?0

Cheers Mojisola, i'm outa this one.
Having read the other link I'm not sure I agree. There is a place in Motoring for this, but a better title would be something like:
"What second car should I get to run over my controlling partner with?"0 -
Shouldn't you have sorted all this relationship bickering out BEFORE you had a child?
This stuff is BASIC decision making for couples everywhere - you shouldn't need strangers to tell you that.0 -

based on their OPs previous thread of OH earning 42K. That would be the after tax earnings. mortgage is sub £400. So they're in a good position. But it's understandable of the guy wants to keep some money for himself after working 9-5, paying mortgage, bills, groceries etc.0 -
degree in nursing is pretty much mandatory now, which is just as well because medical care is very complex nowadays, you want to know the nurse whose treating you can read and write correctly!0

That's £1187.64 plus insurance and fuel so the total will be well over £2 grand for a car that you don't even own.0
