You were lucky Molly - I have been trying since yesterday and not been allowed in once0 -
I just can't believe how daffy some people are. Do you seriously think those are comparable? This is a liquidity problem.
At no time did any politicitan guarantee the survival of Rover or that shares sold by a previous government would make money. On the other hand the Chancellor has said that NR savings are safe. If necessary he would spend a bit of our money to ensure what he said is right but he almost certainly won't have to. No politician is daft or generous enough to end his career without needing to. (Note that saying savings are safe is not the same as saying NR will not be taken over.)
Next we'll have some plonker comparing NR to Lamont's Black Wednesday fiasco.
Who is to say ministers and the BOE have not been mislead? 1000's of investors in CDO's and these other "financial tools" were, many of which are supposed to be the "wizz kids"0 -
If nothing else I think NR's PR people need to be taken out and shot...

The trouble with a site like this is that it does attract the headless chickens doesn't it? Seems to be a mixture here of those who enjoy winding up people who are genuinely worried and airheads who just love a bit of excitement.0 -
