Disabling T-Mobile Voicemail via phone handset
Hello,
Firstly I'd just like to say I'm absolutely thrilled with the service I've received from T-Mobile since I took out my contract a few days ago. I thought Orange were great, but T-Mobile is just in a league of its own. I'll be writing up a full review later but now onto my question. I know I could phone up Customer Services and they'd help in a heartbeat as they have up till now, but I prefer to try to find solutions myself first.
Anyway does anyone who uses T-Mobile on contract know if you can disable voicemail via the handset? I've called Voicemail but there is no option there. Just curious as it'd save me calling up CS whenever I want to disable the option for callers to leave me messages, and it'd also save me having to change the divert settings on my phone if I could just enter a code or something.
Also on a related note, what is the number to access voicemail? I'm using 222 at the moment, and whereas this takes me to Voicemail eventually, it also sends the voicemail settings to the phone as it's actually the setup line according to the T-Mobile manual. Just wondered if there was a 'direct' number to call voicemail via shortcode.
Thanks.
H.
