A bylaw is determined by the local council and published by them , not a 2 bit airline PDF
until the doc has been seen and signed off by the council , its just a DOC , without law.
What are you on about now Freddy? The document I linked to was published by JLA not Ryanair, it's the terms and conditions for the use of the aiport in 2013/14 and it says you must obey the byelaws!
You wanted evidence that JLA is being selective about when the byelaws apply and when they don't, well there it is. It's considerably more compelling than your nonsense about the lad with the laser being prosecuted under the byelaws, which he clearly wasn't.
I don't need lessons in the law from someone who probably gets 50% of what he posts here wrong.Je suis Charlie.0 -
When the byelaws both the early ones and the 1982 reincarnation were from when the Airport had it's own police force. Which was disbanded in 1985 after the Local government act done away with the Merseyside county council who owned the Airport and it was sold to British Aerospace.0

hoohoo and yourself have just posted links , sorry I got the wrong one
at least I get 50% right , including passing on 3 of the last 4 articles on PPs webpage!
I have no intention of trying to teach you law
I spotted that link from JLA several yrs ago , what you missed in the statement from them
6.1.2 Compliance with Airport Byelaws, instructions orders as published from time to time by the
Company, the Civil Aviation Authority, the DfT or UK Border Authority.
we , whilst fighting parking issues don,t give a dam about articles published by CAA , DfT or UK border authority , it bylaws issued by the local council covering roads in there area.0 -
The laser pen incident was a 16 year old who was targeting the incoming planes from over the water on the Wirral so way outside any JLA byelaw offence.0
-
ok , as I said it came up on a google of JLA bylaws and criminal offences , most links to it were dead .
but it would be nice just to find one case were bylaws were used , and present that to the judge to prove the land was non compliant .0 -
Is this of any use? http://www.theyworkforyou.com/wrans/?id=2015-02-23.HL5109.h0

If the blog post, and this is where Freddy got his info, why no credit for the source? ,
and why no credit to me for sending the link , and the link to the coop paper and ,,
so I have proved my statement came before the prankster , now retract your comment!0 -
Freddy may get some things wrong but his heart is in the right place and he does spend some considerable time contributing.
If he gets things wrong, then by all means correct it but remember he is one of us, is learning from the experience on here and seems a genuine guy.
So, I think he should be encouraged and advised decently when he may not get it 100%. Freddy, in turn, just needs to hold his hands up if he has got it a bit wrong.
Here ends sanctimonious lecture !0
