Eurosport player app & Apple TV?

Can anyone tell me if the Eurosport player app works with Apple TV? I want to be able to watch on my TV, I have a chromecast but know this isn't yet compatible with the Eurosport app and I'm wondering if it's worth me going down the Apple TV route.

ETA: I mean via AirPlay from my iPad/ phone - I know the app isn't available on Apple TV. Would the app on my iPad give the option of sending it via the box to my TV?
