in Water bills
Just had my first bill with a mix of 2014/15 and 2015/16 charges.
The combined water/sewerage charge has reduced by 12.21p/m3 to 236.47p/m3, a reduction of 4.9% and my SWD charge reduced by 14.8%. Strangely the combined service charge increased by 84p pa to £43.41, an increase of 2%.
As usual the bill estimated usage prior to 01 April at the higher charges and post 01 April at the lower charges. I was agreeably pleased to find that the estimated readings were 'massively' in my favour. The estimate for higher price consumption was 220 litres a day and lower priced consumption was 650 litres a day.
Not much difference in monetary terms, but a least not the normal 'penny pinching' practice so often employed.
