I'M in desperate need of help

Options
Hello,

I only joined MSE today in the hope that someone can help me with my debt.

Long story short going through depression I managed to rack up alot of debt through gambling, I know it was a stupid thing to do looking back, and i have potentially ruined my life.

It started with losing my wages and getting a few payday loans, those turned into using my savings, then asking my bank for a personal loan.

Now I am back on the straight and narrow with my life with the right medication i'm left with no money and no way of getting out.

Total debt, including the savings account i used is a little over £15,000

I am full time employed with a decent wage but right now i cant even make it till Tuesday 19th May money wise.

I live with my parents and have no assets at all.

Help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Good that you have come here but you need to be a bit more specific with your post.

What do you need help with exactly?

Getting out of debt and these creditors chasing me.
  • Could you not ask work for an advance or sub?

Do you need to do something by Tuesday? it will be here soon enough :)

When you are chased say "you can't have what I haven't got!"

    What do your bank say?

ok, blood and stone spring to mind!

Who do you owe money to?
    how much do you owe?
What % interest is on the debts?
    How much do you earn?
How much do you have to pay on a regular basis for rent and bills?

    okay my apologies,

£9,000 bank personal loan monthly repayments of £232 over 5 years

    4 pay day loans,

    1 with 4 monthly payments of £132
2 with one lump sum of £520 at the end of the month
    1 with 4 monthly payments of £112

a savings account i need to put £4,000 back in.

    i take home £1300 a month

Outgoings are roughly £700 a month

Sounds stupid i know because I know anyone can live off the remaining £600 a month. Obviously with whats happened I'm stuck in a rut with it all.

    ok thank you

Your lost personal savings are not a priority debt, not really a debt, savings get built up over time and you will have them again.

    £232
    £132
    £520
    £112
    £996

    When do you get paid?

    Other thoughts

Speak to your parents - they may help you with this mess

Personally now I'd let the payday lenders chase me...
Bad again I know but you're the sort of customer they relish ;) I fear, can you think of it as saving a job and in time well see if you have a claim against if you can bear it

If I could have my time again, I wouldn't have been so afraid in wanting to pay on time, it trashed me whether I did or didn't pay
    so
    Don't do anything silly x
