    Is that in reference to my previous post?

    Speak to the HA they might have some white goods available, some of the ones in my area do. Check if they have any benefit or welfare advisor to help with the application(s)

    Even if some moved from contribution based to income based ESA they would still need to wait 26 weeks before being eligible for a budgeting loan.

    Another options;

    Crisis loans have been replaced by local council lead schemes, check with your local council what options they have, for example in Liverpool they have 'Liverpool Citizen's Support Scheme' which as an urgent means award where white goods can be obtained - normally referrals are via CAB or other referral agents such as food banks.
    EDIT: read the link provided, if Preston visit this LINK

    Grants are available visit www.turn2us.org.uk

    Did you friend receive or looked into criminal compensation: LINK

    lnk to LCC site not applicable

    "If you need urgent help with the costs of essential items such as food, fuel or clothing and do not have enough money to get these LCC may be able to provide some temporary help."

    "
    If you need help to set up home after being in care, or if you have had to move due to a disaster (such as a flood or fire), or due to violence or fear of violence and you need furniture or domestic appliances LCC may be able to assist.
    They may also be able to help in other situations where you are facing a crisis and can't meet your basic living costs or if you have to move home and do not have enough money to meet the costs. Please contact LCC if you think you may be able to claim."

    link to turn2us org , seem to need referrals from cab or social worker , cab not notified yet , social worker not applicable.

    Callan Browne, of Margaret Road, Penwortham, jailed for knife point robbery

    Making sure that Google right to forget has its work cut out for that ugly little chav.

    Also ... "Browne’s brother Lee, formerly of Longfield, Fulwood, is serving a minimum of 33 years for stabbing their aunt Geradine Allen, 57, and grandma Maureen Allen, 79, to death in 2011."

    Nice family. Pity we don't euthanise scum like this really. How much are they costing decent society? Too much.
