St Ives is beautiful, stunning beaches, lots of caf!s etc. it will probably be busier than Dartmouth but I'd say it's similar/slightly bigger in size too. It is quite hilly in places.

To be honest, Lyme, st Ives, Dartmouth are all lovely! I'd loo at travel/accomodation and then choose. Also look at things to do if it's wet as sometimes it can be difficult in very coastal places.

Padstow? That's lovely too ? Near enough to other nice places eg boat trip to Rock, coastal walks/drives towards Newquay -there are some lovely quiet places there so I'm not suggesting Newquay itself necessarily ( although we go there regularly and love it!)
