Well clearly you haven't driven "all over Scotland" as there are plenty of places with no DAB signal. As one example, it disappears on the A9 just north of House of Bruar.

I drove that route on Thursday, I drive it twice a week, had BBC Scotland on the whole way up.

Maybe they've improved the signal recently then, I haven't done the journey since December, but for the two years I had a DAB radio and drove in the area almost daily it always cut off at the same point. Although I never listen to BBC Scotland so perhaps it has a stronger signal than 5Live.

I still lose the national multiplex but the local one is fine for BBC Scotland and some of the local stations, it does the same up around Drumochter but you'd expect that. Dunno if it is just coincidence but the signal improved on the A9 when they put in the speed cameras. There is a bit down by Lockerbie that has had the signal boosted too.
