Picking seasonal fruit from the hedgerows..... elderflowers to make cordial, blackberries etc to make jam and pies. Foraging for mushrooms if you know what to look for! X0

It's encouraged me to try and spend this Half Term Holiday as frugally as possible.
Some great ideas have been suggested already. If you kids are girls then how about a pamper night/day. This could involve nail painting, make overs and if you have some things like face masks etc?
Could also have a fashion show one night?
Also for a small amount you could challenge the whole family to go to a car boot sale/jumble sale etc and each buy an item costing up to £x and then try selling them either on Ebay/Facebook and seeing who can make the most profit?
