Don't think it was a test, just an example to show you how to complete surveys. I shouldn't worry about it!!!!

I'm waiting to hear if I've been chosen to try a fluffy duster with an extendable handle. First time they've asked me to try something besides cat/dog food.

Got a standard response when tried to join, looks like they have had quite a few applications:

Thank you for emailing Tesco Home Panels.
We are currently receiving a large number of applications to join the panel and a result you may need to wait a few weeks to hear back from us.
If you are a current panellist and are having problems logging on to your home panels page, please remember that your username is now your email address.
If you are emailing to take part in a trial your response has been received and we will contact you shortly.
All other queries will be answered when possible within 24 hours.

Hang in there, they do contact you when they have space for new panelists as I received an email a couple of weeks back telling me that I am now a member of the panel and I had received a similar email as you had previously from them.

have been a member of tesco home panel for ages, they sent me an invite after i`d made quite a few complaints to them lol!
we`ve tested loads of things - different pet foods, nappies (got 2 full packs yay!- 1 sample obviously pampers) baby wipes, anti bacterial handwash, nappy cream, eco friendly loo cleaner, multi purpose wipes, little boy briefs (just started potty training so came in very handy), butter (???), crisps, nail varnish, baby shampoo, baby body wash, cotton wool rolls, car mats, baby bibs, freezer bags plus loads of other stuff. the more you do, the more they send you & the better the stuff gets!

i emailed then yesterday asking about the upcoming trials i have been emailed about, such as rabbit food, bin liners and can crusher, got an email back saying i have been accepted for the trials and will be posting out shortly

i registered with the site and completed the test survey about 2 weeks back and i havnt receieved any test products as of now.....i am just wondering how long does it take for you to do the first product test.

I think it was a couple of months before I got any products to test. Then I was invited to do two product tests in quick succession, so don't give up hope!

I registered in August 2007 and got my first trial this month so hang in there.

I did get an email saying they are going to start looking at clubcard activity as well when picking people so hopefully I will get more trials as most of my spare money goes to Tesco
