tesco home panel?

I got an email asking me to fill in my details etc but i dont have a clubcard, does that matter? the only Tesco near me is about 18miles away so not really local but i do shop there if im looking for something special or at christmas.

Just had this email from them after asking why I have never been invited to trials.


Yes we are taking on new panellists as over the next few months we will be increasing the number of product trials we run by 80% and obviously need the resource for this. Tesco Home Panels has many members and as a result there can sometimes be long waiting periods between trial invitations.
Not all panellists will be eligible for every trial and this may be why you have not received a lot of invites but we will shortly be moving to selecting panellists using Clubcard data so if you are a regular shopper there should be more trials coming your way soon.

i think you have to have a clubcard now or you can not be a member of the home panel

How do I join clubcard? do i have to do it instore as i have been wanting to start doing my shopping online with tesco.

I have signed up to this a few months ago, I get an invite to take part in verious survys. Mostly for school cloths!! But as I dont have kids (well none that I know of), these are not any good to me!! But I have had a couple for cat treats / food. The one for treats, the survey asked me how they tasted!!! I dont know, as the cat didnt leave any for me to try!!!!
