Bob, sadly Gatwick zoo is no longer there, my last visit was a good few years ago.

Bagpuss, I am jealous of your L'occitane goodies, I love that stuff but can't afford it, was it a recent offer?

Today I've just been paid for some Lego I sold on ebay so I'll drop that off at a Hermes point tomorrow. I have something else ending over the weekend with no bids on but 8 watchers so fingers crossed! I've had to take the Wii off as DS has decided to get fit/healthy and unpacked it all again.

DS's Mr T order arrived and I've never seen so little cost so much but he's really happy with it all and we got some free green tea so it's not all bad. I bought a sandwich at lunchtime and someone was giving away free samples of a dessert, it was a tiny pot but I don't have a really sweet tooth (crisps are my downfall) so it was just the right amount to hit the spot.

I've booked DS some more driving lessons and when I was looking for his licence came across my energy readings for the year and I know I am out of contract at the moment so I will look for a cheaper deal this weekend, hopefully one with some money or vouchers/Quidco.

    Have a great evening everyone!

    Evening DFW-Ninjas,

    Quickie update:

    New Era Day 7
    continued:

:grinheart OH sold an old camera lens on eBay. Has used the money to get a new lens at "no cost" and has money left over.

:grinheart Cautiously increased monthly food budget by £5 after doing a careful calculation.

:grinheart Listed a couple of small lots on eBay.

Good luck on your quests, Ninjas.

Had a fairly successful day today :j

My health has been pretty bad the past few days, and when it is I cant sleep but feel exhausted (I have severe brittle asthma). 2 nights running I had got up and made a hot drink and taken it back to bed with me. 2 nights running Ive managed to then fall asleep with it in my hand and given myself a coffee bedbath! :o So today I decided to get myself an Anywayup Cup to reduce the mess if I do the same again and another set of bedding so I dont have to go to the laundrette so often and can wait until i have a full load. So spend-wise here goes....

Anywayup Cup half price in Boots and I paid with points so almost free :D
Found a bedding set in a charity shop, got a quilted mattress protector, sheet, duvet cover and 4 pillowcases for £6 and it even matches my colourscheme:T
Completed several surveys - Ive earned £10 worth of Nectar points since Monday doing surveys:dance:
Spent a couple of hours looking into the cheapest broadband currently available then used chat on their website to get them to call me back (saving my phone bill ;) ). Unfortunately it turns out the line speed would be pretty low, and as I don't have a tv and watch everything online I decided to stick with Virgin as my only problem with them was the cost. They have reduced my monthly cost by £4 though when I said I was thinking about going elsewhere:T
Picked up a brightly coloured tablecloth for £1 which I am making into 16 teatowels.
Looked at LS in my 3 local mini supermarkets, not very much there but did get a carton of goats milk reduced to 14p!!! It was full fat which Id never usually buy but Ive diluted it down and now have nearly 5 pints at less than 3p each!:rotfl:
    Listed 3 things on Ebay:)
Put a card in newsagent to try and sell my Wii as Im too lazy to lug it to the post office if I put it on Ebay:o
Dried my washing outside rather than use the drier at the laundrette:j

I think thats just about it today, but I am quite happy with it . Going to see if my body will allow me to get up early tomorrow as Id like to get my hair cut but dont have an appointment and thats my best chance of being fitted in.

Hope everyone is okay and looking forward to their DFW weekends:beer:

    Hi Faith
so sorry to hear about your terrible asthma & spilling your coffee in bed that's a real worry isn't it. Hope it didn't burn you?
Glad you have now moved onto a safer cup & waterproof bedding.
